Q　Can I also request installation work?

We are sorry, but we do not provide installation work. Please consult with the construction company or other company that you have requested to maintain your equipment.

Q　How much force is required to open and close the lid?

It depends on the weight of the lid.
If you let us know the conditions of lid, we will calculate the approximate opening and closing force and let you know.

Q　I do not know which model to choose.

Please leave the selection of the model to us. Please provide us with information on the equipment to be installed.

Q　Can the entire CAP BALANCER be cleaned?

The "waterproof type" is IP67 dustproof and waterproof, so it can be cleaned.
However, when using special chemicals, please make sure that the CAP BALANCER body and sealing materials are resistant.

Q　I am worried that the open lid will get in the way when feeding raw materials.

The maximum opening angle of the CAP BALANCER is approximately 100 degrees.
If the open lid gets in the way, there are other solutions, such as moving the capbalancer away from the capbalancer. Please contact us.

Q　What is the maintenance procedure?

If the CAP BALANCER is installed outdoors, remove the spring cover about once a year to check the condition of the spring. (except waterproof type).
If the adjustment screws are loose, readjust them.

Q　Is there a guideline for maintenance cycle?

If abnormal noise occurs when opening and closing the unit after about 5,000 operations, please grease up the contact surface between the spring and the body.

Q　What is the durability frequency of opening and closing?

Please consider replacing the spring after 10,000 open/close cycles for the BX and BG types, and after 20,000 open/close cycles for the other types.

Q　How do I adjust CAP BALANCER?

Q　How much is the spring best adjusted?

In the case of theSpring Assisted Type adjusting the spring so that the lid is slightly lifted up when it is closed will allow it to open and close lightly and reduce the risk of finger jamming.In the case of Free Stop Type, adjust the lid so that it stays still over as wide an angle range as possible.

Q　Can you provide Mill Certificate?

We are sorry, but we cannot provide Mill Certificate.

Q　How do I request product model selection?

If you send us specific drawings (detailed drawing of manhole, overall drawing of tank), we will make the selection and report back to you.

Q　I do not know how to calculate the torque of a lid.

The torque of the lid is calculated from the total weight of the entire lifting part of the lid and the distance from the center of gravity of the lid to the center of the balancer axis. If you provide us with detailed specifications, we can calculate it for you.

Q　What should I do if I make a mistake or change the weight of the lid?

If the weight of the lid is changed after the CAP BALANCER is installed, it may be possible to change the model by replacing parts such as the spring if it is within the same product series. Please contact us for details.
