Selection Guide

It is important to select
the appropriate type of CAP BALANCER
for the equipment to be installed.

Calculate the torque of the cover or lid and select the appropriate model.

icon Cases where mounting is not possible

CAP BALANCER can be used on top-opening covers and lids. If the cover or lid is tilted more than 45 degrees to the left or right when viewed from the CAP BALANCER attached to the cover or lid, it cannot be used. (Even if the inclination angle is small, the cap balancer may not be used under certain conditions.)

Necessity of the Free Stop Function

About the need for waterproof type

Q Do you use it in an environment where it is frequently washed or corrosive gases are generated? Q Do you use it in an environment where it is frequently washed or corrosive gases are generated? We recommend the waterproof type for environments such as food factories where tanks and equipment are frequently cleaned or where corrosive gases are generated and rust easily.
The waterproof type is waterproofed inside the spring case by means of packing and oil seal, so there is no need to worry about rusting. It also prevents dust (grease) generated by spring rubbing from getting mixed in. The waterproof type's dustproof and waterproof performance is
equivalent to
IP67.
